Alexis and Isaac's Wedding

All of you guys know of Alexis, but haven't got to put a face to the name yet. Here she is in all of her wedding day loveliness. And this is her now-husband, Isaac. He was still a fiance for another few minutes in this one. Here's all the ladiesAnd the guys.
And here are a few of my super favorites.

This wedding was so fun. Honestly, you guys have to meet these people. I just instantly adored Alexis, but Isaac is just as sweet. But you really GET them when you see them with this group of friends and family that they have. Instantly everyone welcomed me like family. I have honestly never met so many awesome people in one place. They are amazing people who have surrounded themselves with more amazing, open, loving, and Christ-centered people. And it's just really remarkable to see that. I had a really good time. Congratulations, you guys!!!

A Day At The Beach

We went to the beach with Sean and Amy and the boys this week. It was, indeed, Spring Break but it was no big deal since we went at 9 am. The college kids still had headaches.
I am guilty of a brilliant crime that is working in my favor. I have flat out lied to my son. I told him that people can hear him when he talks to the camera. And he believes me. Here he was saying, "We're at the beach Grandma. It's c-c-c-cold."

She's a Girl Now. Officially.

She can wear blue with no bow and everyone will still know that she's a she. She got her ears pierced today. For all concerned citizens out there, she's already over it. She's happily playing in her exersaucer and has already posed for her first shoot. Today begins a marathon of Abby sitting around in pretty dresses series. She can't crawl yet, so dresses are fine still, but she can sit still and not go anywhere. Pics will be much harder to come by in a month.

Happy St. Patty's Day

Wow. Thanks Nana and Pere. This is the hat that was purchased from Ireland while I was just pregnant in anticipation of THIS DAY. It's everything I hoped it would be. :)

Will's New Favorite Outfit.

Wow. Thanks Grandma and Papa. Here he is in the backyard.

And here we are at breakfast at the bagel shop. We had to force him out of it to put on something Irish.

Domestic Goddess? Oh, yeah.

I'm all crafty and domesticated this week. This is the quilt that I started yesterday. I'm really making some progress on it, which actually surprises me. I'm all over it. I'm planning my next one. I'm a freak about fabric now. It's super wierd.
I made a Wee Bunny. I thought it was great at the time. Really...not so much.

And I'm cooking alot. This is Thai Curry. Yummy. OH...these are cake balls! Grandma, you gotta wrap your head around this. Bake a cake. Then crumble it up and mix it all with a tub of frosting. Then roll them in balls, chill them, and dip them in melted chocolate. Then put more sugar on top. I made these little lemon cake balls and they are delicious. I also did some red velvet dipped in milk chocolate. Oh, my gosh they are the most delicious little fat bombs ever. Brandon said they are sick. They are, in fact, a little intense. So we'll make up for it with this salad. You take every vegetable you can think of and put it in a bowl with cold noodles. And then the dressing makes it delicious. Olive oil, cilantro, sesame oil, garlic, brown sugar, lime juice. All kinds of tastiness.

Random Pics of the Week

Brandon is off of turnaround! And he's getting a ton of stuff done that he's been wanting to do for a long time. Hanging shelves, yard work, and he even bought and installed new lighting fixtures all around the outside of the house and started painting the pub doors red. The trim will be black. It's going to be much more pubby.
And that second pictures is of Brandon and Will at the Putt Putt Funhouse. Will's new favorite place to be. It's super miserable, but we're now using it as a bribe for pooping in the potty, and there's apparently no way he's going to do that.

So...Abby is six months old this week. As of this afternoon she can sit up for around 2 minutes and I think she likes it. She can fit her foot in her mouth. She LOVES that. And I think it's hilarious, though it does make diaper changing a nightmare since that's the only time she'll stay on her back long enough to eat her foot. And her butt looks like that of a sumo wrestler. Now THAT'S funny!

Will got a new hat. And found a new love for an old jacket. That doesn't fit.

Abby is an Elf

See.

And in other family news Brandon is on shift again (he's off until Friday!), Will got cowboy boots, and I am now obsessed with quilting and patchwork projects even though I've never done one. I shall be great. I ordered fabric today. And I did make that cute blanket that Abby is holding there. It took me two hours to thread the machine and bobbin and 20 minutes to make the blanket. It can only get better from there.

Abby's Thinking About Getting Mobile

So far she's mostly just thinking about it. But lately if I lay her down (even in the middle of the night and she's mostly asleep), she takes it as a personal challenge to crawl away. I put her on her belly and she'll get on her knees and rock or just shoot herself forward. More often is the move I've seen fish do when they get caught and just flop around frantically. She moves like that. This last picture is of her sort of sitting up. Her booty and legs are so big that they just sort of spread on out and she balances on them, so I don't really know if that's sitting up or not. She sort of panics and cries when she figures out that that's what's going on though.

Photos by Will

Matt and Jorja came over with presents for the kids the other day. Will was super excited to get a camera. It takes pictures, videos, and has games. It even has editing software where you can add pirate hats and mustaches and things like that to your pics. So without further adeu, The World Through Will's Eyes:
